Nordic Julekuler: "Eight-Petal Rose" (6/55) and "Mitten" (7/55)

Recently I have turned into a real knitted balls factory :) having fun and knitting my evenings away. Here are my new 2 Nordic balls:

  "Eight-Petal Rose" (6/55) - a widely recognized Scandinavian motif in all sorts of knitwear

and...

 "Mitten" (7/55)

With the 7th ball I have finally achieved a perfect round shape! Yay! Just compare these two:

In the meantime a new ball is being knitted :)

    The baubles are gorgeous Martha - they look complicated to make (for us not that great knitters!)- come Christmas you will have a sack full! Mich x

    The baubles are so pretty, but to a non-knitter all those needles look terrifying! And such a gorgeous tin too.

    They look lovely and so trendy with everything 'Scandi' being so popular right now. Have to admit, they do look v complicated to make to a non-knitter!

    These are beautiful! As a non-knitter I cannot begin to comprehend how you do that with 4 sticks (?!) pins? needles! Got it :)

    Those baubles are fantastic! won't they look wonderful at Christmas time :) you could probably sell hundreds at Christmas markets.. better get knitting!! :)

    Don't you just love working with four needles... I especially love it when people look frightened if they have to sit near you! Fab baubles, bet you cannot wait until Christmas :)
